Brief Biography
My name is Melanie Peters, and I am a second grade teacher at Holley Navarre Primary School in
Navarre, Fl. If teaching is my first passion, then flight is my second passion. I have been married for eight
years and I have two adorable children, Brock and Loryn. My hobbies include working on my private pilots license,
writing science fiction novels, soaking in the wonderful scenery we enjoy on the gulf coast, and thanking my lucky stars we
are fortunate enough to live here!

Classroom Philosophy
Ms. Peters' Pilots motto: "Make Voyages...attempt
them! There's nothing else!" Tennessee Williams said it; we're going to live it. In a nutshell, the
quote challenges my students to try new things, give it their all, and enjoy the journey. I
am committed to ensuring each and every one of my pilots (students)
works to his/her potential on a daily basis. I
will tirelessly seek to learn individual learning styles and modify my instruction techniques to support them. My pilots
will endeavor to "do their best"--I cannot ask for more.
